LETA receives Commonwealth Bank Bushfire Recovery grant.

During the 2019/2020 bushfire season that challenged many Australian communities, our Community Meditation Facility at Balmoral Village in New South Wales suffered fire damage to our supporting infrastructure.  Fortunately, the main Meditation Centre and support buildings were spared from damage.

As a result, in March 2020, Life Eternal Trust Australia applied to the Commonwealth Bank’s Bushfire Recovery Grants program for assistance. The program provides eligible applicants with a grant of up to $50,000 to assist with the replacement and repair of community facilities and property.

We are pleased to acknowledge that on 13th March 2020, LETA was awarded a grant of $50,000, the maximum amount available under the program’s guidelines. The grant will be used to assist with repairs to our property and community facilities.

We take this opportunity to thank the CommBank Bushfire Recovery Grants Team on behalf of Life Eternal Trust Australia and our community for their generous donation.

We extend our gratitude to the Commonwealth Bank for their commitment to improving the financial well-being of their customers and the wider community. Our community restoration project will now move forward in a timely manner  allowing us to assist and help improve society.

We look forward to sending CommBank positive reports on the progress of the Balmoral restoration Project. Thank you to everyone involved and for your kind consideration in this matter.

Yours sincerely,
Trustees of Life Eternal Trust Australia
